Liquid Brun by French Avenue, launched in 2024, has quickly become a standout in the men's fragrance market, largely due to its positioning as an affordable alternative to Parfums de Marly's Althaïr. The composition opens with bright citrus and aromatic notes like bergamot and cardamom, creating a fresh yet warm introduction. As it settles, cinnamon and praline add a sweet-spicy warmth, while bourbon vanilla and white florals like orange blossom lend depth and complexity. The base notes of guaiac wood, ambroxan, and musk ensure that Liquid Brun remains grounded in its woody, powdery character.
Apply one or two sprays — the aromatic and citrus top notes fade within an hour, but the warm spicy and vanilla heart notes carry through the day. It pairs well with layering under a jacket for a more restrained presence in cooler weather.
