The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013 by Bruno Fazzolari, Au Delà is a chypre fragrance that embodies the otherworldly harmonies of Olivier Messiaen's music. The composition opens with coriander and neroli, creating an initial brightness that gives way to the depth of jasmine and orange blossom. At its heart lies oakmoss and resins, which lend an earthy, almost salty quality to the smoldering amber base. This fragrance is a journey through layers of luminosity and sensuality, with each note playing off the others in unexpected and intriguing ways.
Au Delà blooms gradually on the skin, so a light application at first helps to appreciate its evolving notes. The earthy base notes take time to emerge fully, making it best suited for evening wear or cooler settings where its depth can be appreciated.

Bruno Fazzolari, a self-taught perfumer and visual artist who grew up between the southwestern United States and France, began creating scents in 2003 tied to his experience of synesthesia and his paintings.
