Launched in 2016 by Hermès and crafted by perfumer Christine Nagel, Galop d'Hermes is a complex Oriental fragrance that marries the warmth of leather with floral and fruity notes. The opening burst of quince and saffron sets an unexpected tone, bringing freshness and depth to the composition. Turkish rose and osmanthus add a delicate touch of sweetness, while the base of warm spicy accords and white musk creates a sensual, enveloping finish.

Christine Nagel is the in-house perfumer at Hermès, succeeding the legendary Jean-Claude Ellena in 2016. A graduate of ISIPCA and trained at Charabot in Grasse, she brings decades of experience to one of perfumery's most prestigious creative positions. Nagel's work for Hermès — including Twilly, Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver, and the Jardin series — continues the house's tradition of understated elegance while introducing her own luminous, textured sensibility. She has also created masterpieces for Jo Malone, Narciso Rodriguez, and Valentino.
