Ganymede by Marc-Antoine Barrois, launched in 2019, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that imagines what divine skin might smell like. Perfumer Quentin Bisch built this scent around a heavy dose of ambroxan on a woody-spicy base, creating an olfactory experience that feels both otherworldly and grounded. Ganymede became a fixture in discussions about the best niche fragrances and was celebrated for its bold presence. It has won Fragrance Foundation Awards in France, the UK, and Russia, and was a finalist at the Art and Olfaction Awards in 2020.

Ganymede's ambroxan opens with an immediate impact, so one or two sprays is sufficient. Allow it to settle for about 15 minutes before heading out; the initial burst of saffron and mandarin gives way to a rich leather and woody base that lasts well into the evening.
