Gentle Fluidity Gold was created by Francis Kurkdjian for his eponymous house and released in 2019 alongside a silver counterpart, the two compositions sharing a base formula while diverging in their top and heart accords. The concept was explicit and philosophically interesting: the same structure, experienced differently depending on which version you encountered first, demonstrating that context and contrast shape olfactory perception as much as raw materials. The shared base of musk, juniper berries, and ambrette creates a woody, slightly animalic foundation that anchors both compositions.
