Launched in 2008 by perfumers Émilie Coppermann and Lucas Sieuzac, Givenchy Play Intense is a sophisticated Oriental Fougere that marries the boldness of coffee with the warmth of woody accords. The composition opens with a bright burst of mandarin orange and bergamot, which quickly gives way to the rich aroma of coffee and pink pepper. As it settles into its base, notes of tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver, and French labdanum create an inviting warmth that feels both comforting and enigmatic.
