Glorious Indigo by Lalique was launched in 2020 and is the creation of perfumer Clément Marx. This fragrance embodies a rich blend of warm spices and woody accords, with cinnamon and ginger providing an initial burst of warmth that gradually gives way to the deep, resinous notes of labdanum and precious woods. The composition settles into a base of black amber and patchouli, creating an enveloping warmth that feels both familiar and luxurious.

Clément Marx was born in Corsica and raised near Grasse. After graduating as a mining engineer in Albi, he moved to England, where a chance meeting with Robertet UK perfumer Jean-Charles Mignon led him to become his assistant, then to join Robertet's in-house perfumery school in Grasse. He trained in Paris under master perfumers Jean-François Latty and Michel Almairac, worked as an R&D engineer for Christian Dior at LVMH in 2014, and joined the Robertet Group in 2015.
