The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025, Riwaya by Gulf Orchid is a fragrance that weaves together contrasting notes to create an engaging olfactory experience. The composition opens with pink pepper and grapefruit, offering a bright and zesty freshness that quickly gives way to the warmth of spices and smoke. At its heart, rose and amber blend seamlessly into a soft, powdery base anchored by musk and vetiver. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor heavy, striking a balance between the sharpness of citrus and the comfort of woody and spicy notes.
Apply Riwaya in light layers to allow its various notes to unfold gradually. The citrus top notes are fleeting but bright, so it’s best to focus on the heart and base notes by applying it to pulse points where warmth can enhance the spicy and woody undertones.
