The Story

Harem Rose by Fort & Manle is a Floral fragrance for women and men that was launched in 2017. The nose behind this scent is Rasei Fort, who draws inspiration from varied cultures and pop-culture references to create an individualistic and often eccentric composition. Harem Rose opens with a bright and vibrant rose note, which is immediately grounded by the warmth of amber and woody accords. This contrast creates a captivating tension that makes it feel both fresh and deeply comforting.

Application Tips

Apply Harem Rose sparingly to let its warm, enveloping base notes come through. The rose is bright initially but fades into a more subtle warmth that lasts throughout the day. This fragrance pairs well with cooler evenings or intimate settings.

Rasei Fort portrait

Rasei Fort, of Turkish heritage raised among orange and mandarin orchards, traces his passion for fragrance to childhood memories of his grandmother distilling roses in Cyprus, crystallized during a 2005 visit to Saudi Arabia exploring traditional attar and agarwood perfumeries. A self-taught perfumer, he spent six years experimenting with raw materials before founding the house Fort & Manlé, drawing on his Turkish heritage and history to compose oud-focused, artisanal fragrances.
