Launched in 2017 by Nomenclature, Holy-wood is a chypre floral fragrance crafted by perfumer Frank Voelkl. The composition opens with the sharp brightness of pink pepper and Bulgarian rose petals, creating an immediate tension between spiciness and floral sweetness. This contrast gives way to a heart of jasmine sambac and clearwood, which blend seamlessly into a base of suede, sandalwood, and musk. The result is a scent that feels both warm and grounded, with a subtle edge that keeps it from feeling overly sweet.

How It Wears
Application Tips
One or two sprays is enough to capture the full essence of Holy-wood. The pink pepper top note fades quickly, but the rose and jasmine heart notes take about an hour to fully bloom on the skin. This fragrance reads better close to the skin rather than from a distance, so apply it where you want to be noticed but not overwhelmed.
