Hydra Figue by Miller Harris, launched in 2023 and crafted by Emilie Bouge, is a composition that seamlessly blends marine and woody accords with fruity freshness. The opening notes of ouzo, ginger, and bergamot create an aromatic tension, while the heart of fig, marine notes, and sea salt evoke a sense of coastal serenity. The base notes of sandalwood, oak, musk, and ambroxan add depth and warmth, grounding the fragrance in earthy comfort.

Émilie Bouge was born near Grasse into a family of perfume creators tracing back to an ancestor who founded the 19th-century company Bruno Court. Trained at ISIPCA in Versailles, she began her career at LMR, then moved to Charabot (later acquired by Robertet), helping set up its Indonesian laboratory, and has collaborated with Creed, Trudon, Acqua di Parma, and Xerjoff. In 2010 she and her sister Marie-Eugène launched the niche brand Brecourt; in 2019 she launched her own brand, Bouge; and in April 2025 she joined Takasago as Senior Perfumer in Paris.
