Launched in 2021 by Initio Parfums Prives, Oud for Happiness is a Woody Spicy fragrance designed to unlock the invisible power of scent. The composition opens with fresh and citrusy notes like bergamot and ginger, which create an immediate sense of brightness and energy. As it develops, licorice and agarwood (oud) bring a warm, spicy heart that adds depth without overpowering the freshness. The base notes of vanilla, cedar, herbal notes, and musk ground the fragrance with a soft, powdery warmth. Initio's approach blends ancestral knowledge with cutting-edge scientific advancements to create an emotional substance that amplifies happiness.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture Oud for Happiness’s full essence. The fragrance opens quickly with its bright, citrusy top notes before settling into a warm, comforting base. It is best suited for daytime wear when the freshness complements the warmth.
