Launched in 2025 by Loewe, Iris Root is crafted by perfumer Nuria Cruelles as an ode to the earthy and powdery nuances of iris. The composition opens with a fresh spicy note from timur, which transitions into the rich, woody scent of orris root and angelica, before settling into a base of earthy and powdery accords. This fragrance is neither conventionally floral nor overtly musky; it occupies a subtle yet distinct space that feels both familiar and refined.
