Born and raised in Grasse to a family of perfumers, Mathieu Nardin developed his appreciation for raw materials picking jasmine and rose in his grandparents' fields. After ISIPCA, he began his career at Robertet before joining Mane, blending traditional technique with contemporary ideas. His creations include Jacquard for Etro, Iris de Champs for Houbigant, and — for the British house Miller Harris — Tea Tonique, Rose Silence, and Vetiver Insolent.
