Bernard Ellena is a perfumer born in Grasse and trained at Roure Bertrand Dupont, who began his professional career at Haarmann & Reimer (now Symrise), where he has spent the majority of his working life. He comes from a family of perfumers — his father Peter Ellena worked for Chiris, his brother Jean-Claude Ellena is one of the industry's most celebrated noses, and his niece Céline Ellena is also a successful perfumer. His portfolio spans luxury names like Creed, Givenchy, and Van Cleef & Arpels alongside more accessible brands such as Avon and Benetton, and niche work including Amouage Beloved Woman.
