Luca Maffei's Jardin Anglais, launched in 2018 by the storied French house Houbigant, captures a distinctive balance of freshness and warmth. The fragrance opens with bright bergamot and pink pepper, creating an initial burst of energy that cuts through to reveal raspberry and rose at its heart. Damask Rose and May Rose form a lush floral bouquet that contrasts beautifully against balsam fir and violet notes, adding depth and complexity. As it settles into the base, vanilla, patchouli, musk, cashmeran, and sandalwood create a rich, enveloping warmth.
