Launched by Le Labo in 2012 and crafted by perfumer Maurice Roucel, Jasmin 17 Perfume Oil is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that blends the freshness of citrus with the warmth of musk. The composition opens with bitter orange and neroli, creating a bright, zesty freshness before giving way to a heart of jasmine and orange blossom. These floral notes are enveloped by a base of vanilla, amber, and sandalwood, which adds depth and a powdery comfort.

Maurice Roucel is a master perfumer at Symrise whose prolific career spans five decades and hundreds of fragrances. Born in Saint-Girons in the French Pyrenees, he is celebrated for his ability to create scents of extraordinary sensuality — compositions that caress the skin and linger in memory. His masterpieces include Guerlain's Insolence, Lancôme's Trésor Midnight, and the landmark 24 Faubourg for Hermès. Roucel works with an almost musical sensibility, building fragrances in waves of tension and release.
