Vetiver, harvested from the roots of a tall grass native to India, exudes an earthy aroma that is both dry and slightly sweet. Virginia Cedar
Virginia cedar, sourced from the eastern United States, carries a deep, resinous aroma with hints of sweetness and a subtle bitterness. This wood note is characterized by its dry, woody scent, which can evoke images of aged timber and forest floors underfoot.
Saffron
Saffron was never new to perfumery. It appears in records of Mughal compositions and in the great leathers of the seventeenth century, and it worked as a fixative inside classic chypres — always the under-paint, never the front of the bottle.
