Aurélien Guichard

Aurélien Guichard is a senior perfumer at Takasago, born and raised in Grasse into a family business growing roses and jasmine for major perfumers, and following his father into perfumery via the Givaudan Perfumery School. He began his career at Givaudan, working with houses including Bond No. 9, Davidoff, Robert Piguet, and Ego Facto, and has since created fragrances for Maison JUS including Coffeeze, Ambraser, and Ultrahot. In 2019 he launched his own line, Matière Première, and he has also taken over his family's rose-growing business in Grasse, continuing seven generations of family know-how.
