L de Lolita Lempicka, launched in 2006 by Maurice Roucel, is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance that has since become a cult classic. Praised for its distinctive blend of salty-spicy vanilla and citrus, it was surprisingly ahead of its time — similar accords didn't achieve widespread popularity in niche perfumery until years later. The composition opens with bitter orange and bergamot, creating a vibrant contrast against the warmth of cinnamon and immortelle.
