L'Eau d'Issey Pure Nectar de Parfum is a creation that marries the delicate balance of floral sweetness and fresh aquatic notes. Launched in 2018, it was crafted by perfumers Fanny Bal, Dominique Ropion, and Claire Liégent to evoke an essence of purity and elegance. The fragrance opens with honey and pear, creating a warm and inviting entrance that is soon layered with the crisp freshness of bergamot and water notes. At its heart, it features rose and peony, which are softened by powdery cashmeran and sandalwood in the base. Claire Liégent was born in the Champagne region and grew up in her father's restaurant, developing an early sensitivity to scent. She trained at ISIPCA from 2007 and apprenticed at Symrise, then worked at IFF and IFF-LMR in Grasse before moving to Takasago, where she has created fragrances for Giorgio Armani, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent, including YSL Y. In 2012 she co-founded the Parisian niche boutique Nose.
