L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme EDT, launched in 2016 by perfumers Béatrice Piquet and Sylvaine Delacourte, marries the crisp brightness of citrus and aromatic spices with a warm and enveloping base of cacao and woody accords. The composition begins with lemon, star anise, and bergamot, creating a vibrant opening that is both fresh and spicy. As it settles into its heart, elemi, pepper, tea, and hibiscus add layers of complexity, while the base notes of smoke, jasmine, cacao pod, patchouli, and sandalwood ground the fragrance with rich warmth and depth.
