Gian Luca Perris, born in Rome, studied economics and commerce before joining the family business — his father Michele Perris founded Perris Group in 1981. He founded Perris Monte Carlo in 2011 as its Creative Director and Nose, partnered with Jean-Claude Ellena in 2019 on the Parfums de Grasse collection, and was appointed CEO of Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella in September 2020.
