Launched in 2014, La Tentation de Nina by Nina Ricci is a collaboration between perfumer Olivier Cresp and Vincent Lemains of Ladurée. The fragrance aims to evoke the sensory experience of tasting macarons — combining fresh florals with gourmand notes that are anything but heavy-handed. It opens with citrusy bergamot, which gives way to a heart of raspberry, almond, lemon, and Bulgarian rose absolute, all intertwined in an accord reminiscent of Ladurée's famous confections. The base notes of Bourbon vanilla, white musk, and sandalwood add warmth and depth, creating a scent that is both inviting and sophisticated.
