Lagerfeld Classic, launched in 1978 by Karl Lagerfeld and crafted by perfumer Ron Winnegrad, is a composition that balances the crispness of aldehydes with the warmth of amber and tobacco. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot and lemon, followed by green tarragon and clary sage, which add an aromatic freshness. As it settles, the woody base of sandalwood, cedar, and patchouli creates a warm, powdery backdrop that is neither too heavy nor overwhelming.

Application Tips
Two sprays are sufficient to capture its essence — the aldehydic opening is bright and immediate, while the tobacco and amber base notes develop gradually. Lagerfeld Classic reads best close to skin rather than from a distance, so apply it directly on pulse points for a more intimate experience.
