Launched in 1997 by the French glasswear design house Lalique and crafted by perfumer Maurice Roucel, Lalique Pour Homme is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of restrained elegance. The composition opens with bright citrus notes — bergamot, grapefruit, pomelo, mandarin orange, and tangerine — creating a crisp and refreshing beginning. This freshness then gives way to lavender and rosemary, adding an aromatic depth that feels both clean and earthy. The base notes of cedar, iris, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, oakmoss, sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli, and amber create a warm, woody foundation with a subtle powdery finish.

Application Tips
Given the blend of fresh top notes and rich base notes, apply Lalique Pour Homme liberally to ensure that both layers are present. The citrus opening is bright but fades within a couple of hours; however, the woody base continues to develop on the skin for several hours. It works well in cooler weather when you want a fragrance that evolves throughout the day.

Maurice Roucel is a master perfumer at Symrise whose prolific career spans five decades and hundreds of fragrances.
