Launched in 2014 by Lalique, Elegance Animale is a fragrance that juxtaposes the natural and the refined. Created by perfumer Cécile Matton, it opens with saffron and peach, adding an unexpected fruity freshness to the composition before settling into a heart of rose, jasmine, and geranium. The base notes of leather, gurjan balsam, sandalwood, and warm spices create an animalic warmth that is both sensual and sophisticated.
Apply Elegance Animale in layers for a deeper experience — start with one spray to let the fruity top notes shine through before adding another layer to reveal its rich animalic base. The scent settles close to the skin, so applying it directly on pulse points enhances its warmth and longevity.
