Launched in 2003 by Sophia Grojsman for Lalique, the Butterfly Crystal Flacon is an Oriental Floral fragrance that captures a delicate balance of sweetness and warmth. The composition opens with bright pear and cassis, creating a fresh and fruity top note that immediately draws you in. As it evolves, the heart unfolds with jasmine and rose, adding depth and floral richness. Clove introduces a subtle spicy warmth that cuts through the sweetness, while sandalwood and vanilla ground the scent in a comforting woody-musky base.
Apply one to two sprays to pulse points for a balanced effect. The fruity top notes fade quickly, so it’s best to layer it over a moisturizer or apply a bit more after an hour. This fragrance reads better close to the skin than in the air.
