Velvet Plum, launched in 2019 by Lalique and crafted by perfumer Valerie Garnuch-Mentzel, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that weaves together the warmth of powdery musk with the earthy richness of patchouli. The heart of this composition features iris and tuberose, creating a floral complexity that adds depth and intrigue. While the brand Lalique was founded in 1888 by René Lalique, known for his fascination with the natural world, Velvet Plum captures a modern elegance grounded in its earthy woody base.
