Lampblack by FZOTIC was launched in 2013 and crafted by Bruno Fazzolari. This aromatic spicy fragrance opens with a vibrant clash of black pepper and citrus notes — sweet orange and grapefruit that cut through the sharpness. The heart brings earthy cypriol oil, adding depth and warmth to the composition. Vetiver and benzoin anchor the base, creating an enveloping woody-spicy finish that feels both familiar and intriguing.

Bruno Fazzolari, a self-taught perfumer and visual artist who grew up between the southwestern United States and France, began creating scents in 2003 tied to his experience of synesthesia and his paintings. He sold his fragrances directly from his artist website starting in 2013, quit his job as an art professor as sales grew, and launched the brand FZOTIC in 2017, hand-crafting everything in his San Francisco studio.
