The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021, Asad by Lattafa Perfumes is an Oriental fragrance that has captured the attention of many through its distinctive blend of fresh and warm spices. The composition opens with black pepper and tobacco, creating a bold yet subtle tension before settling into a heart of pineapple and patchouli, which adds a layer of complexity. The base notes of vanilla, amber, dry wood, benzoin, and labdanum ground the fragrance in a rich, woody warmth. Asad has become widely discussed on fragrance TikTok as a budget alternative to Dior Sauvage Elixir, matching its cinnamon-nutmeg-licorice profile at a fraction of the price.
One to two sprays are sufficient — the fresh spicy notes are prominent initially, but the warm woody base develops gradually over time. It's best worn during cooler weather when its warmth feels more comforting.
