Launched in 2012, Lavande 44 by Rania J is an aromatic spicy fragrance that embodies the essence of lavender and woody notes. Perfumer Rania Jouaneh crafted this scent to balance freshness with warmth. The composition opens with bergamot and petitgrain, leading into a heart of lavender and tonka bean. The base layers in vetiver, patchouli, agarwood (oud), labdanum, and musk, creating an earthy and enveloping aroma that lingers on the skin.

Apply Lavande 44 lightly to pulse points; its top notes are fresh but fade quickly. The woody and amber base notes develop over time, so it's best to let them settle for about an hour before heading out.

Rania Jouaneh was born in Jordan, the great-granddaughter of a Middle Eastern spice trader, and moved with her family through Morocco before settling in France. After working in business management and tourism, she trained in perfumery at Cinquième Sens in Paris in her late thirties, gaining recognition for her fragrance Ambre Loup in 2012 and going on to found the niche brand Rania J.
