After nearly four years apprenticing there, she purchased the store with her family's help, eventually relocating it to Los Angeles and building over thirty years of experience as a pioneer of indie perfumery. Her creations for By/Rosie Jane and Skylar, including Leila Lou, Cashmere, and Coconut Cove, have been carried by Barneys New York, Anthropologie, and Nordstrom.
