Limes by Floris, launched in 1832, is a lasting citrus fragrance that has been cherished for nearly two centuries. This composition opens with the bright and zesty notes of Amalfi Lemon and Petitgrain, which are balanced by the delicate floral nuances of Lime (Linden) Blossom and Neroli. The heart of Lily-of-the-Valley adds a touch of sweetness and freshness, while the subtle musk base provides a gentle warmth that lingers on the skin without overpowering.

Juan Famenias Floris was born in 1698 on the Spanish island of Minorca and worked as a barber and perfumer before emigrating to England. In 1730 he established a barber shop and comb-making business on London's Jermyn Street; he and his wife Elizabeth soon began making and selling perfume, missing the aromas of their Mediterranean youth, and he created early fragrances including Limes. He died in 1760, leaving a business still run by his descendants at 89 Jermyn Street today.
