The fragrance opens with licorice, offering an unexpected sweetness that transitions into a heart of violet, cedar, and jasmine. These notes create a soft and sensual atmosphere, while the base of vanilla, tonka bean, and labdanum adds depth and warmth. Elixir Sublime is a composition where each note plays a role in creating a rich blend of sweet and spicy aromas.
Apply Elixir Sublime in small amounts; the licorice top note is bright but fades quickly, giving way to a more lasting base. The fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room, so a lighter application allows its warmth and depth to shine through.
