Launched in 2014 by Penhaligon's, Lothair is a woody aromatic fragrance created by Bertrand Duchaufour. The composition opens with a vibrant blend of juniper and cardamom, which are soon joined by the freshness of bergamot and grapefruit. As it develops, fig leaf and red berries add depth to the green and citrus elements before lavender and black tea bring a soothing warmth. In the base, woody notes like cedar and ambergris mingle with musk and oakmoss to create an earthy, spicy finish.
