Launched in 2023 by Zara and crafted by perfumer Gaël Montero, Lush Vetiver is a composition that balances the brightness of citrus with the earthy depth of vetiver. The fragrance opens with bergamot and grapefruit, creating a fresh and vibrant top note that quickly gives way to the rich complexity of saffron and vetiver. This blend is further enriched by oak and patchouli in the heart, adding layers of warmth and spiciness. A touch of tobacco adds an unexpected smoky undertone, grounding the composition with earthy sophistication.

Of French-Spanish heritage and raised in Madrid, Gaël Montero studied perfumery at Montpellier University and was mentored by perfumer Jordi Fernandez in Barcelona. After working as a Perfumer Assistant at Procter & Gamble, he joined Givaudan's Perfumery School in Paris, rising from lab assistant to junior perfumer, and now works as a perfumer for Memo Paris, based in Dubai.
