Launched in 2017, Madawi by Arabian Oud is a fragrance created by the esteemed perfumers Claire Liégent and Dominique Ropion. This composition opens with bright fruity notes of peach and pineapple blossom, which give way to an elegant floral heart featuring apple blossom and wild rose. The base of musk and patchouli adds depth and warmth, creating a harmonious balance between sweetness and earthiness. Madawi captures the essence of Arabian Oud’s dedication to luxury scents while infusing modern sophistication.

Claire Liégent

Claire Liégent was born in the Champagne region and grew up in her father's restaurant, developing an early sensitivity to scent. She trained at ISIPCA from 2007 and apprenticed at Symrise, then worked at IFF and IFF-LMR in Grasse before moving to Takasago, where she has created fragrances for Giorgio Armani, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent, including YSL Y. In 2012 she co-founded the Parisian niche boutique Nose.
