Mod Noir by Marc Jacobs, launched in 2015 and crafted by Jean Claude Delville, is a floral fragrance that balances freshness with sensuality. The composition opens with green notes and citrusy yuzu and clementine, creating an immediate sense of brightness and vitality. At its heart, gardenia and tuberose blend seamlessly into the creamy nectarine and magnolia, adding depth and warmth. The base of musk and orange blossom brings a subtle animalic and lactonic character that lingers long after it's first applied.
Apply Mod Noir sparingly at first; the citrus top notes are bright but fade within two hours. The floral heart and musky base keep it warm and alluring for most of the day, making it perfect for an evening out.
