Launched in 2021, Material by Amouage is a complex oriental vanilla fragrance crafted by perfumer Cécile Zarokian. The composition opens with elemi and patchouli, creating a warm aromatic base that transitions into the heart of Madagascar vanilla, benzoin, and tonka bean, offering a rich and comforting sweetness. The smoky and woody notes from incense, labdanum, guaiac wood, agarwood (oud), and osmanthus add depth and complexity, making Material a fragrance that evolves throughout the day.
