Launched in 2020, Meander by Amouage is a fragrance that seamlessly blends traditional Middle Eastern ingredients with contemporary perfumery techniques. Perfumer Mackenzie Reilly has crafted a composition centered around the woody and earthy accords of olibanum, carrot seeds, and vetiver, which create a warm and powdery base. The top notes of black pepper and pink pepper introduce a fresh spiciness that contrasts beautifully with the heart notes of orris, narcissus, and rose, adding depth and complexity.

Mackenzie Reilly, born and raised in New York, studied the anthropology of scent in college before working at the luxury publishing house Assouline. She joined IFF in 2010 as assistant to the Director of the New York Creative Center and was admitted to the IFF Perfumer School in 2013, going on to work as a fine fragrance perfumer at IFF in New York.
