The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019 by Michael Malul London, Citizen Jack is a fragrance that balances bright citrus and aromatic notes with warm woody undertones. The opening of mandarin orange and bergamot provides a fresh, zesty start, while pink pepper adds a subtle spicy edge. As it develops, the scent transitions to a heart of coffee blossom and tonka bean, creating an intriguing contrast between floral sweetness and earthy depth. The base notes of vetiver, patchouli, amyris, and labdanum ground the composition with their rich, woody warmth.
Citizen Jack's top notes are bright but fade quickly, so aim for two to three sprays to ensure the heart and base notes have time to develop. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear, as its warm woody base complements the cooler air without overpowering it.
