Launched in 2022 by Michael Malul London, Ocean Noir Dive is a fragrance that dives deep into the earthy and woody realms. The opening notes of mandarin orange and clary sage set a fresh yet mysterious tone, before black pepper adds a warm spicy edge. Lavender and elemi create a lush aromatic heart, while labdanum and oakmoss bring an earthy mossiness to the base. Indonesian patchouli leaf and sandalwood ground the composition with their rich, balsamic warmth, making this scent both intriguing and comforting.
One or two sprays are sufficient — the rich base notes develop slowly on the skin. This fragrance projects best close to the body rather than filling a room, so aim for pulse points like your wrists and neck.
