Launched in 2020 and crafted by Stéphane Bengana for Fragrance Du Bois, Minuit et Demi is a warm spicy Oriental fragrance that balances rich spices with sweet caramel and musky woods. The opening notes of cardamom and pimento provide an aromatic freshness, soon enveloped by the comforting warmth of caramel and vanilla. The heart introduces a subtle coffee note, adding depth to the sweetness before settling into a base of tobacco, cinnamon, musk, cashmeran, and woody accords that read as cozy yet mysterious.

Stéphane Bengana, from Clermont-Ferrand, France, knew from a young age he wanted to be a perfumer, earning a Master's in Chemistry and a DESS PhD in Perfumery at ISIPCA. He began his career at Haarmann & Reimer in Paris before moving to Grasse to train at Payan Bertrand, then relocated to Dubai as Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas for nine years, the last three as Perfumery Director, where he co-created a perfume for Queen Elizabeth II.
