Originally launched in 2005 as an unusual youth-oriented strawberry-and-popcorn gourmand that became one of the best-selling women's fragrances globally, Miss Dior Cherie Eau de Parfum was reformulated and renamed 'Miss Dior' in 2011 under François Demachy. This new iteration brings a more sophisticated profile with its fruity and woody accords. The fragrance opens with bright mandarin orange and strawberry, leading to a heart of rose and jasmine before settling into a warm base of sandalwood, amber, patchouli, oak moss, and vetiver. While the reformulation drew backlash from enthusiasts who felt it lost the character of the original, this version offers a more nuanced and elegant interpretation.
