The Story

Miss Rocaille by Caron was launched in 2004 and is a Floral Green fragrance for women. Created by perfumer Richard Fraysse, it opens with bright citrus and aromatic notes like basil and tangerine before settling into the freshness of sea water and aquatic accords. The heart features delicate florals such as African orange flower, water lily, and lily-of-the-valley, all underpinned by a subtle pistachio note that adds an unexpected touch of nuttiness. This composition is a modern interpretation of Caron's enduring elegance, blending crisp freshness with floral warmth.

Application Tips

Apply Miss Rocaille lightly to pulse points. The citrus and aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting, so allow it to layer naturally over your skin as they fade into the fresh aquatic heart. This fragrance is best worn during cooler parts of the day when its marine and floral notes can truly shine.

Richard Fraysse portrait

Richard Fraysse, a third-generation perfumer and son of Lanvin's André Fraysse (creator of Arpège), was the in-house perfumer for the House of Caron — a company that, from its founding, has always employed its own dedicated nose. His creations for Caron include Délire de Roses (2011), Impact Pour Un Homme (2005), and L'Anarchiste (2000). He has since retired, passing the role to his son William Fraysse.
