The first self-titled fragrance of the house was launched in 1982 under Max Factor, followed by Missoni fragrance from 2006 under Estee Lauder.The creative director of the brand Angela Missoni explained to wwd that she wanted to create a scent dedicated to a sensual and exuberant woman: “She is a confident woman, who wears this fragrance as a dress that glides on the body, enhancing the vitality and charm.”The floral - fruity - woody composition of the new edition is signed by perfumer Quentin Bisch. A trio of Italian citruses - which include bergamot, lemon and citron - begins the composition together with pear. The heart notes include floral molecules of maholia (dense floral notes with undertones of jasmine), Petalia (Givaudan molecule that smells like fruity rose / peony) and Sambac jasmine. The base ends with tones of sandalwood, tonka bean and ambroxan.The face of the perfume is model Elisa Sednaoui. The commercial is directed by Paolo Sorrentino. The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
