Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Épine de Rose by Mizensir was launched in 2018, crafted by the renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas. This fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of mandarin orange and ginger, creating an immediate sense of freshness and warmth. At its heart, Bulgarian rose takes center stage, supported by pink pepper and black pepper to introduce a subtle spiciness that adds depth without overpowering the floral notes. The composition settles into a woody base of cedar and incense, grounded with a touch of agarwood (oud), which lends a rich and sensual finish.
This fragrance blooms best after a few minutes on skin. A light spritz is enough to capture its complexity — the top notes are bright but fade quickly, while the woody base lingers longer. Best suited for daytime wear, where it reads as fresh and engaging.
