The Story

Moth by Zoologist Perfumes, launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Tomoo Inaba, is an intriguing blend of warmth and complexity. The fragrance opens with the sharpness of black pepper and clove, balanced by the subtle sweetness of honey and saffron. As it evolves, a woody base emerges, infused with smoky oud and powdery musk, creating a composition that feels both grounded and mysterious. This scent captures the essence of Zoologist Perfumes' fascination with animals and their idiosyncrasies, translating these qualities into an unusual and captivating olfactory experience.

Application Tips

Apply Moth sparingly to allow its warm spices and woody base to develop naturally. The smoky and spicy top notes fade within an hour, making way for the rich amber and musk that linger throughout the day.
