Launched in 2011 and crafted by perfumer Jacques Huclier, The Taste of Fragrance A*Men by Mugler is a complex Oriental Woody fragrance that balances vibrant freshness with deep warmth. It opens with coriander, lavender, and mint, creating an aromatic burst that contrasts beautifully against the spicy notes of chili pepper and bergamot. As it settles, the composition reveals rich layers of coffee, vanilla, and tonka bean, anchored by woody accords of patchouli and cedar. The base of musk adds a subtle sensuality to this multifaceted scent.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow its complex notes to unfold gradually. The spicy and aromatic top notes are brief, so it’s best to let the rich base notes take center stage. Ideal for cooler evenings when you want a scent that feels both warm and inviting.

The nose behind A*MenJacques Huclier is a senior perfumer trained at ISIPCA who began his career at Haarmann & Reimer (now Symrise), mentored by Olivier Cresp and Pierre Bourdon, before moving through Quest and returning to Givaudan in 2003.
